Skills Development
Developing context-specific and locally-tailored skills development solutions is part of our core mission.
The success and sustainability of your mental health and resilience-building interventions relies upon sufficient capacity at the staff and organizational levels. This is why for us, skills development is about identifying key knowledge and also key attitudes gaps to equip MHPSS and resilience-building teams with the necessary skill sets, tools and frameworks to tackle intervention issues.
We work hard to incorporate innovative methodologies and learning strategies into all our skills development solutions. By offering trainings that change mental health paradigms, personal attitudes and work-group dynamics, our trainings ensure that the changes are permanent, which leverage global best practices of work and operation of organizations, institutions, and communities.
Our approach on skills development.
By working with individualistic approaches, MHPSS and resilience-building teams face several obstacles to achieving their goals and delivering desired outcomes.
We specifically target psychological social factors not addressed by individualistic approaches. Our training leads teams to develop an out-of-the-box systemic view of the key social and individual dimensions of the Self and to put that new vision into practice.
By working with our Social Self-based approach, MHPSS and resilience-building teams will be able to finally overcome issues otherwise perceived as being beyond the control or influence of the intervention.
All our solutions and trainings are gender- and generation- specific. Thus, we ensure that 2SLGBTQIA+ and age dimensions are taken into account.
